"this is a perfect series to relax and have a laugh with"
Lil Marchette is keeping her dating agency Dead End Dating
above water but it isn't easy work. It could be a little
easier to run the agency if she didn't have to put up with
the calls from her mother, but most likely it would be
easier if she only catered to humans. Dead End Dating is
the ultimate meet-and-greet for the fanged, furry and
fabulous and there is never a dull moment or date. A gorgeous eight-hundred-year-old warlock has kidnapped one
of Lil's clients and nobody seems to be doing anything
about it. So Lil rushes off to Texas in the hope of finding
the warlock herself and saving her client from being
sacrificed. It doesn't turn out to be as easy as Lil
thought and then her friends and mom turn up to help her. Will Lil manage to save the day and her dating agency? Can
she solve the relationship problems between her friend and
brother? Can she stop her mom from poisoning her human
sister-in-law? It is all in a day's work for Lil Marchette,
and maybe she will find some time to relax with hunky
boyfriend Ty along the way. It is hard to believe that Sucker for Love is book
five in the Dead-End Dating series. Even with the long
breaks between the releases in this series I never have a
problem keeping up with Lil's life, family and friends.
Which I think shows how good and how much fun this series
is. Full of action but witty and sassy, this series is a
perfect blend of the paranormal and chick-lit. Things are progressing nicely in the big picture but things
are not looking so good for Lil and I hope she gets a break
soon. I am excited to see what happens next in Here Comes
the Vampire but I am a little worried about what they will
do to the next book cover. My only peeve about this series
is the change of cover styles. While books 1 to 3 had nice
covers that suited the series and Lil well, the last 2
books have had completely different styles and look silly.
So here's hoping to a nice cover next time. All in all this is a perfect series to relax and have a
laugh with. Lil is funny and the kind of vamp a girl hopes
to be. Her family are hilarious and the plot is always
exciting. A little romance here and there but nothing too
over the top. Vamps, weres, demons and more make this a
full paranormal house and a super read.
