"she has taken a myth and made it all her own"

Sarah Hartwell has traveled to an isolated area of northern Manitoba to study wolves. She has always had a love of wolves and when her friend informs her they are back after a four year absence, she leaves her fiance and travels as fast as she can. Little does she know that she will be caught in the middle of a battle that has been in the making for years.

Larak and his den-brother Kam, are part of an unusual breed of wolf. They are the Shumani, the wolves who walk as men. They have little to no contact with man, and the more they go without interaction the more they lose all sense of their human side. Larak and Kam fear the time has come for them to unite against Hunt. A ruthless wolf who will do anything to keep control over their small pack. They see Sarah as a new begininng, now all they have to do is kill Hunt, and somehow convince her that she needs to abandon her life and live as thier mate.

I am back to reading Sierra Dafoe, and I am not disapointed at all. Once again she has taken a myth and made it all her own. Larak and Kam are two mouth watering guys who go for what they want, and Sarah is a strong female who will only give it to them if that is what she desires. A fast paced, erotic read that will leave you wanting more.

SUMMARY

Welcome to Wolf Creek Cove…

In an isolated area of northern Manitoba lives an unusual breed of wolf. They are the Shumani, the wolves who walk as men. But the longer they go without contact with humans, the more they regress into wild wolves.

Larak and his den-brother Kam watched helplessly as the Shumani dwelling in the hills above Wolf Creek were taken over by Hunt, a vicious black wolf who will do anything to retain control of the pack. Now, with the arrival of the only human they've seen since cubhood, Larak and Kam vow to end Hunt's domination.

Sarah Hartwell, domestic disaster and wolf aficionado, has left her fiancé to spend eight months studying the wolves. Little does she know she will become a pawn in the battle for control of the Shumani -- a pawn Hunt is determined to remove from the game.

Can Larak and Kam convince her to give up a safe, secure life among her own kind for one of danger, passion and the call of the wild?
