"Humans in need of Sanctuary"
The Evanoff Horse Sactuary was as much a sanctuary for it's
owner,Nick, as it was for abused horses. He took beaten,
starved horses in, healed and trained them and let them live
out their lives in peace on his acreage. Little did he
imagine the sanctuary his new neighbor was in need of.
Morgan Fletcher had barely survived six years in a horribly
abusive marriage before a drunk drive killed her husband. A
talented artist, Morgan went searching for solitude in the
Montana mountains. A place she could paint and heal. She
had a lot to heal from....memories, a broken hip, facial
scars and very low self-esteem.
Nick braced for the collision between the car and his horse
trailer. He had seen the car out of control on the mountain
road and knew the safest thing to do was to let it hit him
rather than fly off the side of the mountain. By the time he
realized the driver was his new neighbor; he had already
fallen for her. He had no idea how hard it was going to be
to deal with her memories, his past life and the fact that
he had fallen hard.
Can a broken woman be healed by a horse trainer with a hard
past? This was an exceptional book. The horse story alone
was well worth the time in reading; but when you add in a
hunky cowboy, his ornery little brother and an absolutely
beautiful heroine with nightmare quality memories you have a

Scarred and with a permanent limp, Morgan moved to a quiet cottage in rural Montana wanting tranquility, solitude, a place where she could heal from the brutality inflicted on her by her late husband. Ex-convict, horse trainer, Nick Evanoff didn't need anyone, at least he never had. Then he spotted Morgan sitting in a copse of trees, technically trespassing. One glimpse of her stopped his aggression cold. In its place lust rose; powerful, primitive, demanding.
