"Pick up where Pick of the Litter left off..."
Terry Taylor says she can't stand Nashe Wolfe, but why does
she feel drawn to him? Why does she crave his touch? When
Terry decides to visit Nashe after having a disturbing
dream involving wolves and panthers, she breaks a heel from
her shoe causing a severely sprained ankle. Nashe, who's
new restaurant she falls in front of, happens to be the one
to catch her and insists on taking care of her; even if it
means chasing any competition away. Terry, having
discovered the existence of weres through the adventures of
her friend, Marissa, knows that Nashe is one of them. Nashe Wolfe, a half breed were, lost who he thought was his
first mate when she tried to be turned. Nashe blames his
half breed blood and refuses to take the chance of mating
again. Somehow Terry has gotten under his skin and he
figures if he could just get her out of his system that
everything can go back to the way it was. Steamy sex, torrid love scenes, this sequel to Pick of the
Litter is not disappointing in the least. You get to be
reacquainted with the original characters and introduced to
more. Wendy Stone is especially creative when it comes to
the dragon were and I hope she continues the series.
