"Truly an enjoyable book from the first page to the last"
Returning home after a relationship gone bad, Taryn Davies
helps her uncle with his winery. After her uncle passes she
inherited said winery, but the winery is in a bit of a
financial bind. So Taryn decides to try to get her wines
out to some new places. One of which is the Wulf's Den.
Hoping Beowulf will buy her wine to sell in his bar. While
leaving the Wulf's Den she meets Wade. Even though she is
attracted to him, Wade reminds her of the relationship she
left long ago. Can she trust Wade to not hurt her? After working in the cellar of his brother's bar, Wade is
going over his future. He loves Beowulf and his mate Roxie,
but he wants a mate of his own. Thinking it will never
happen, he goes upstairs. Upon entering the main bar he
catches a whiff of Taryn's scent. Instantly he knows she is
his. Catching her outside of the bar, he trys to convince
her. Only to have his advances stopped cold. Wade,
determined to not let Taryn get away follows her to her
winery, The Pines, and works hard to win her heart. He
finds not only does he have to win her over but he has to
protect her as well. Oh, and he also has to tell her what
he is. Will Taryn believe Wade and trust him or is their
relationship about to turn into sour grapes? Marisa Chenery's second book Taryn's Wolf digs
deeper into the Wulf's Den series. The readers get more of
Wade and his good looks, as well as catch up with Beowulf
and Roxie and others from the first book. Ms. Chenery does
a great job of joining the stories, as well as giving each
character their own individual story to tell. Taryn's
Wolf also introduces more morals into the werewolf
world, and shows that love can and has many times passed
between species. Truly an enjoyable book from the first
page to the last.
