"What woman wouldn't want a tiger of her own?"
Casey McTaggart was a government analyst searching for a
Middle Eastern terrorist known as "The Tiger." After
spending 8 years building a profile on him, she had
instructions from her superiors to make him an offer. The
search led her to the desert, and the surprise of her life.
Apparently he was not called "The Tiger" for nothing! Khalid Razeh had a secret. The victim of a secret
government experiment, he was now a shapeshifter. When the
helicopter following him gets attacked, he finds himself
saddled with a nosy American, who seems to rile his tiger
as much as she does him. Casey and Khalid have an instant attraction, and she agrees
to help him find the answers he is looking for, even though
it means she might lose everything. What will happen when
they reach their destination? Will their new relationship
be able to last through the trials to come? UNLEASHING THE TIGER was a very good story! A continuation
of Ms. Devlin's Altered States series, it adds another
chapter in the lives of several of the characters from
previous stories. The romance between Casey and Khalid is
scorching, and the ending of the story is very well done. A
series of surprise twists makes this a very entertaining
and thrilling read.
