"What better way to learn the ropes then by taking Vampire 101?"
Savanna had always thought vampires were sexy. Too bad they
weren't real. But when she left a club with a hot guy, she
never expected to discover that there really were vampires.
Too bad she had to meet up with one who attacked her and
left her for dead. Kaige Travers just wanted to have a nice night on the town.
Fate had other plans for him though. When he saw a
beautiful girl being escorted from a club by a man he
recognized as a vamp, he followed, and rescued her from
death. In order to save her, he had to turn her. How would
Savanna react to his choice? Since Kaige turned Savanna, he is responsible for teaching
her everything she needs to know about life as a vampire.
What he doesn't count on is the attraction that blooms
between them, and his overwhelming sense of protectiveness
and possession towards her. How will Kaige react when the
evil that attacked Savanna comes back for her? Will he be
able to save her? VAMPIRE 101 was great! I love Ms. Tyler's work as a rule,
but this one was especially good. Her stories keep getting
better and better! The emotions between Kaige and Savanna
were intense, and through her writing she allows the reader
to feel every nuance. The love scenes between them are just
smoldering hot, so hot that they almost produce a blush!
Her setting helped add to the realism of the story, and her
secondary characters added incredible depth. The vampire
society she describes is fascinating, and very believable.
This was another excellent story by a fantastic writer.
