"A truly mind drawing story"
Mary Wickes doesn't want to get involved with a cop,
especially one like Dace "Hard Man" Banovic. Also, she is
thinking about moving out of Gold Rush and getting a new
job that doesn't deal with cops at all. Mary has a bad
history with the police, and secrets she's been holding
onto for a long time. So why after six months of her
avoiding Dace, is he now trying to get to know her, and why
are her hormones pushing her to do things with him that she
has never wanted to do to another man, let alone a cop? Dace "Hard Man" Banovic, a member of SWAT on the Gold Rush
police force, has been attracted to Mary since he joined
the force six months ago, but he's kept his distance. Now
hearing she is moving, has caused him to jump in with both
feet. He doesn't understand why she has avoided him. Not
that he's let his attraction to her known either. Now that
it is out and Mary knows about it, can he help her overcome
her past and start a future with him? Also can he protect
her when danger surfaces? Denise A. Agnew does a wonderful job of drawing her readers
into the lives of Mary and Dace. They will enjoy Within
His Sight and be rooting for Dace to break down Mary's
defenses and win her heart. They will also feel for Mary
while she had to make tough choices in her life. A truly
mind drawing story, one any romance reader will love. It is
true that women are looking for those tough men to protect
them without thought and that a man wants a woman that is
both strong when needed but needs them as well. Truly an
amazing start to a hopefully wonderful series.
