"a great historical paranormal read"
Drogan of Wolfglynn only wants to live a life of solitude.
What else can he do given his past, and sins he has done in
said past for his years of service to the King. That is
until he meets Serena at his friend Gerard's keep, while
there for the birth of his and his wife, Maris', daughter.
There is something about Serena that catches his eye and
now he must face his past and hope he can make Serena a
part of his future. Serena is a witch. One whose family is cursed. So she lives
alone in Gerard's land, and comes to a party at Gerard and
Maris' request to bless their daughter. Alone with the
parents and Drogan, Serena sees something in Jocelyn's
future. She now knows she has to find a way to save
Gerard's family and her friends from the evil that is after
them. Can she do it before it's too late? What about her
feelings for Drogan? Readers will enjoy Donna Grant's Sisters of Magic:
Shadow Magic as they learn of Drogan's past, and the
curse that's held Serena and her family in it's grip for so
long. The reader ais transported into the past where
Knights and King's rule and keep the peace, and witches
were about. Also where Evil can change history unless the
characters learn from it and find a way to conquer it. The
reader will root for the heroes to save the day and watch
as evil takes hold only to be stopped in the end. Or is it?
