"Horse sense and Love can make a family"

After a showdown with his father, Grey Jerome walked away from the corporate empire to reorganize his priorities and took a temporary job in a stable. Can a beautiful Christy Shannon be impressed with a guy who grooms horses for a living? How can he tell her the truth about himself without ruining their budding relationship?

Her little daughter, Jessica is playing matchmaker, as she wants a dad. Christy, a shy young widow is impressed with Grey's patience and caring. Grey is everything she ever wanted in a man, but she has a feeling there's something he's not telling her.

The inevitable happens at a horse show and Grey is forced to introduce Christy to his father and stepmother. The family conflicts and fortune come to light and Grey is surprised at Christy's understanding and help in resolving issues of his past. Can they now have a future together?

As with most series size romances, you are left wishing for more about the characters involved, but Ms. Scarbrough has done an excellent job of presenting well-rounded characters and emotions in the backdrop of youth horse competition.
