"There is not a single thing I can say against this series, it's simply one of the best going"
Be advised, this is book 18 in an ongoing story line. There
are no spoilers for this book. However, if you have not
read the series and plan too, reader be advised. Alpha Del -Rey Delgado is on a mission, to wipe out the
council and all threats to the Breeds. He will do anything
to achieve his goals. He will also do anything to assure
the safety of Anya Krobrin, a young Russian scientist bent
on the protection of the Coyote Breeds she calls friends.
Del-Rey will also do anything to get what he wants, and
what he wants is Anya, from the moment he sees her.
Unfortunately, as surely as he knows she will be his, no
matter how many years it will take him, he also knows... He
will betray her. Anya trusted Del-Rey Delgado from the moment she laid eyes
on him, she also loved him, trusted him. Little does Anya
know this man will be the catalyst that changes her life
forever. Betrayal is a bitter pill to swallow though, even
her love and attraction for Del-Rey can't get past the
betrayal of her heart and soul, and she can't forget. No
matter how it might destroy them in the end, it's fight or
flight. As the fight against the council wages on and the dangers
to the mates grow worse, Del-Rey must make choices that
will ensure the safety of his mate. Her love and safety are
paramount and all that matter in the face of council
assassins. Sometimes, both safety and love are just not
possible goals to reach. I adore the Breeds, there is not a single thing I can say
against this series, it's simply one of the best going. Ms.
Leigh can weave a tale that hooks you in from page one and
keeps you going through the entire book, right up until you
turn that last page. However, this book in particular was
especially filled with tension, be sure you can take angst,
because this book has it in spades. Del-Rey's character is
domineering and sure of himself and Anya is strong-willed
and deeply in love. The emotional conflicts in this book
will have your stomach tied in knots, a good and bad thing,
depending on your point of view! There was never a dull
moment to spare.

**A PNR Reviewer Top Pick** For six years Anya Korbin worked with Del-Rey Delgato—the genetically altered rebel known as the Coyote Ghost—to free a group of coyote women kept in her father’s lab. As Anya matured into a woman, she and Del-Rey grew close…but then he broke his promise and killed her father. Now she must deal with her animalistic desire for the one who betrayed her. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Genre: Paranormal Romance, Sensual, Explicit sex Author's Note: The Breeds were originally written out of order chronologically, so that and a change in publishers is why there are chronological discrepancies in Jacob’s Faith and Aiden’s Charity.
