"A steamy romp in the Bayou."
Sabastian Deveraux is the Alpha male in his family of shape
shifting wolves. He needs to take a mate for the security
of his clan. The only problem is, the love of his life left
him long ago. Amanda St. James left Sabastian to try and
forget him. She could no longer endure his hot and cold
ways. When she stumbles onto his doorstep, Sabastian takes
necessary measures to ensure she doesn't leave him again.
He does what any rational wolf Alpha male in Louisiana
would do... he kidnaps her. They ride out a storm and find
the passion they'd both thought they lost forever. Selena Blake spins a sexy story around two people who think
they know what's best, for themselves, and the other.
Amanda thought she needed to flee because she wasn't
certain of Sebastian's feelings, Sabastian didn't go get
her and immediately bring her back because he wasn't sure
of hers. The storm gives him a perfect opportunity to show
her the extent of his feelings, sexually and emotionally. Both characters are well developed and quirky enough to
thoroughly enjoy. Sebastian's raw sex appeal just oozes off
the pages and makes you want to take trip down the bayou.
Amanda struggles with her feelings, and what she knows of
Sebastian's true nature, but ultimately accepts that living
without him is something she cannot do. Ms. Blake has a brilliant imagination when it comes to the
sexy scenes she writes between Amanda and Sabastian. The
heat level ranges from hot to scorching with enough power
and emotion behind them to make them entertaining as well
as intriguing. I'm glad to have read The Cajun's Captive,
and I look forward to the second book in the Stormy Weather
series.
