"Captivating Paranormal for All Ages"
Cheyenne Wilde never dreamed her sixteenth birthday would
turn into living nightmare. Her parents tells her she is a
vampire. After the initial shock wears off, she learns Hollywood has
things wrong about what vampires can and cannot do. She
won't explode into a pile of dust if she goes outside. She
doesn't have to suck on someone's neck to survive, but her
real downfall is she's the first Vânător born in over five
hundred years. She's a hunter of evil and has some kind of power she needs
to discover before it's too late. Only, she doesn't have the
foggiest notion how to do this. It's not like she can pick
up Vânătors for Dummies and learn all she needs to know. She didn't need this right now, not when she had to deal
with everyday human problems like gymnastic practices and
staying out of the way of a girl at school who torments her.
She also meets a really hot guy and there was instant sparks
... literally. However the worse of it is, an evil vampire is
stalking her and says she is his. Could things get any
worse? Cheyenne finds out it can. Ms. Bell has written a fantastic paranormal tale, keeping
true to a teenager's world. There's intrigue, mystery and
romance spun into the mix as well. This story will captivate
the reader from the first page and keep them on the edge of
their seat. As Cheyenne would say, "You have been warned." This is the first book in the Vânător series and I look
forward to reading more. This is rated Young Adult, but I
