"This series just gets better with each book."
Jakes life as he knew it ended a year ago when he was
accidentally nicked by a werewolf. He had been rock
climbing when he fell and was badly injured. A pack of
werewolves found him and dragged him to safety, but in the
process, one of them accidentally grazed him with his
teeth. Now, he doesn't know if he should love them for
saving his life, or hate them for taking his humanity.
When he goes back to the ranch to learn more about his pack
and who and what he is, he finds so much more than he
thought possible. During a pack hunting trip, they find
Allison, who fell from a cliff and is in need of help.
Jake rescues her and takes her back to his cabin at the
ranch. Now, his beast is chomping at the bit, wanting out
to claim Allison, but Jake has to hold back. Until they
are threatened by an enemy, then he has no choice. In
order to save them all, he must unleash his beast, even if
it means losing Allison. The Temptation is the fourth book in the Forbidden
series. If it is even possible, each book has been better
and better. I fell in love with Jake quickly. He is a
young college boy from Texas and has the southern charm to
go with it. He is at war with himself and his inner beast,
and I was rooting for him to come to terms with the wolf,
so he can become what he is destined to become. Allison is a strong lady, just coming out of a very bad
marriage. She is the perfect match for Jake and I very
much enjoyed watching these two meet in passion, butting
heads all the way. The Temptation brings back a couple of the people
from past books, tying them all in. Samantha Somersby is
doing a superb job, starting out with Ren and Violet in the
first two books, and building upon them, their family, and
their circle of friends. I can't wait until the fifth book
and hate that it will be fall before I can reconnect with
all of these people that I have come to think of as friends.

Sometimes…temptation can be a good thing
A year ago, Jacob Madison got more than he bargained for during a rock-climbing trip to Yosemite. A freak accident left him badly injured, at the mercy of the elements—and the wolves who rescued him. If it hadn’t been for them, he’d be dead. He’d also still be human. Now he’s back, hoping to find out who he is and what he’s become. Instead, he finds smart, sexy Allison Connelly. A forensic psychologist, Allison is newly divorced and proudly standing on her own two feet…until an unexpected storm shears off the snow bank she’s standing on. She plunges down an icy ravine, thinking she’s heading for oblivion. Then she lands in the arms of a tall, dark Texan. Jake. Brought together by circumstance and bound by passion, secrets from their past threaten their future before it can begin. And somewhere in the mountains lurks a rogue Were turned serial killer. Whatever the danger Jake’s inner beast poses to Allison, there’s only one way to protect her—unleash it. Even if it costs him her love. Warning: This book contains raging winter storms, truly inspiring sex, a kick-butt heroine, and one very hot, dirty-talking cowboy…who’s sometimes furry. Genre:Paranormal Romance; Erotic; Shapeshifters; Urban Fantasy
