"a dark, paranormal romance with an enthralling plot"
Strange things have been happening to forensic
anthropologist, Vivien Cairn. Vivien has been losing time,
only to awaken hours later with no memories of the lost
time. Because of this and a particularly trying case,
Vivien has taken time off from her job. When sorcerer,
Dain Hawkins, arrives with some bones for Vivien to
examine, all hell breaks loose-- literally. Dain saves
Vivien from a demon attack and whisks her away to the
safety of his house, when her house is burned to the
ground. Dain makes it his business to protect Vivien, but
can he overcome the instant attraction that he feels?
Also, does Vivien have anything to do with the mysterious
murders of men, that have occurred recently?
DEMON'S HUNGER is a dark- at times, violent and grisly-
paranormal romance with an enthralling plot and a
surprising ending. While this story is a little bit darker
than I usually like, I found myself caught up in the
storyline and rooting for the characters. Because it
seemed to slow the pace of the story down, I wish the
sexual tension between Vivien and Dain had been realized
sooner. Other than this minor quibble, DEMON'S HUNGER kept
me entertained and guessing until the very end. I never
guessed the surprise ending and will surely look for the
next book in the series.
