"it\'s fun, fast paced,...a truly sexy read"
Aindreas, Brodey and Cailean Lyall, triplet ranchers in
Florida , love the Highland Games. It's an opportunity for
the three to show off their skills and have fun with their
Scottish heritage, something they don't get to do often
enough. For decades they've had to hide their true
identities, actually, make that a couple of centuries. The
triplets are shape shifters, not just any kind, they are
all Alphas. Alphas and triplets are a very rare occurrence
in their pack and one that makes finding their mate, their
One, a nearly impossible task. That is until one of them
hits on her scent, and decides to do anything he can to not
let her out of his sights. When the other Lyall brothers
find out, they are, in a word, ticked. Ain doesn't take
kindly to his Prime Edicts not being followed, even if it's
by use of a loop hole in the rules; by law they must be
followed. Much to their consternation, many old laws must
be followed and because of this, Ain refuses to allow his
brothers, or himself, for that matter, to take their mate
by force. Yes, it's their right, but he refuses, even
knowing that in the end, their One could only be truly
happy and loved in their arms. All three of their wonderful
large, albeit shape shifting, arms. Can the brothers allow
her to escape them, even in the face of Ain and his noble
edicts? Elain Pardie is a down to Earth, "prove it to me" girl, the
strong and independent type, she also happens to be a
reporter. That doesn't bode well for the boys, it's not a
good idea to get in the press when you have a secret like
theirs to hide. But they must try, they must convince
Elaine that she belongs to them, with them, no matter what.
However, they may not be able to convince her in time to
make her theirs or keep their secret off the 11 o'clock
news either. It's a rocky path the foursome will face. Tymber Dalton has emerged on the scene hot and heavy, just
like her men. Boy, are these guys hot and heavy, this is
going to be part of a series that if we're lucky will go
well beyond the trilogy planned. (Hint, hint, Tymber!) I
highly recommend this book, if you love shape shifters and
poly-amorous ménage, you will adore this book. Throw in the
fact that they are Scottish and well... I was lost! I adored
this book, it's fun, fast paced, funny as all get out, hot
and a truly sexy read. It's also a story that you won't
want to put down, oh, and it is a short story and won't
take long to finish at all. So, kill an afternoon with sexy
Alpha shifter men, you won't regret it. Ms. Dalton is fast
becoming one of my favorite authors.
