"A new and refreshing twist on vampires"
Alexander Faustin is a down to earth, Brooklyn born
vampire. He has always wondered what it would be like to
be human and has even pretended to be as a child. Never
one to settle for second best, he has never married or
fallen in love; because he knows that his one true love is
out there just waiting for him. When his Russian mother
dreams about his destined mate, she gives him just enough
information to find her. Now, it is left up to him to find
her and make her love him, and agree to be converted to a
vampire. After several really bad relationships, Helena is prepared
to be alone the rest of her life. When the handsome and
mysterious Alex shows up on her doorstep one night, her
life will never be the same. Helena must learn to love and
trust Alex or their relationship will never work. Evie Byrne has put a new spin on vampires. Alex comes from
a normal family and is not hundreds of years old. Every
bit of the story was refreshing, including watching Alex
stumble around and make stupid mistakes that could cost him
his life mate. Helena, a truly sweet lady, has had a hard
time, after a really bad long term relationship and the
sudden loss of both of her parents a year ago. Helena
discovered a lot about herself in the story, which was a
touching sight to see. If you enjoy erotic vampire
romance, then I highly recommend Called by Blood to
you.

Bowing to family tradition, Alex Faustin travels from NYC to Colorado to track down his soul-mate, Helena MacAllister, and convince her to be his bride. There are only two hitches in this plan. The first is that Helena and he are complete strangers. The second is that Alex is a vampire. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Genre: Paranormal Romance, Red Hots!
Length: NovellaWarning: Contains graphic sex scenes, blood play, and one scene of voyeurism. There’s also a scary part in the middle. The author and her lawyers remind you that this is a work of fiction. In real life, a one-night stand with a stalker is a bad idea, unless the stalker is a vampire, in which case it’s an amazingly bad idea. (Note: No actual elk were harmed in the writing of this novella.)
