"you must read this series!"
Warning: Spoil Alert Possible for Series Only. If you read the Ghost Walkers, there are no spoilers for
Book 7 in this review. However, if you have not read the
Ghost Walkers, and I urge you to do so, please note that
this is an ongoing story arc, it builds on the previous
books, and you may get a spoiler for previous books.
Therefore, let the reader beware. Kadan Montague is a Ghost Walker, he's one of the strongest
and scariest of the team members. He's cold as ice and
focused, nothing gets to Kadan, until now. One little
woman, named Tansy Meadows can thaw the ice in his veins.
When searching for a killer, Kadan finds the one woman
fated to be his and his alone. Can he keep her safe amidst
this murder game? Is it possible, even if the killer is
inside of her head tracking her? Tansy Meadows thought she knew the score. She also thought
her gift of seeing killers was a curse, a natural curse,
but a curse. Soon Tansy finds out that she is not only a
product of Dr. Whitney's insidious experiments, but that
there is a man sent to upset her very world. The man that
is so cold, so strong and so very sexy to her, is setting
his sights on her. For more than just help to find a
killer, Kadan Montague is keeping her and keeping her safe
from killers. Kadan wants to keep her safe from her gift as
well. Now, it's up to Tansy and Kadan to set a trap and stop a
killer. Amidst the ongoing madness and threats that Dr.
Whitney poses, they must find a way to make this game end,
this game of murder. If they don't, they will never survive
to live and love. Kadan and Tansy never thought to find
love, and now that they have, they may not live to enjoy it. Does Christine Feehan ever disappoint? This latest
installment of the Ghost Walkers ranks up there as my
favorite Ghost Walker book to date! As a lover of series
books, I've mentioned in the past, okay I've harped about
it in the past, that some books simply should not be read
out of order. This book is one of those books. You can
attempt to read it as a stand alone, and likely will enjoy
it, but seriously, read the series. It will have so much
more impact on you, plus you will understand the plight of
the men and women of the elite Ghost Walker teams. You will
be hooked, so why ruin the rest of the series? Just cut to
the chase and read them all!
