REVIEW

"an engrossing read"

Vince Delucca is a self made millionaire. He is used to getting what he wants, when and how he wants it. He has an edge over his competitors, he can sometimes see the future. Then one day his fiancée disappears, and he is the main suspect. He hunts down Dr. Faith Walker, a forensic pathologist and recluse. He knows she is a fraud, that she is a psychic not a scientist. She sees the past. Will she help him find out what happened to Elizabeth?

Although Faith is drawn to Vince, she is determined to find Elizabeth.

Together can they find the truth, or will the past continue to stalk them?

I was drawn in and engrossed by this book from the first page. This book grabs you, sucks you in and doesn't let go until the last page. There is a lot of sexual tension, you can see the characters struggle with falling in love and trying to make things right with the missing Elizabeth. The story twists and turns and you are truly surprised by the outcome. I loved the fact that I never figured out everything.

SUMMARY

Forensic anthropologist Dr. Faith Walker has made a career of fooling people. When they ask her to identify a long dead loved one they do not realize her reconstruction of the skull has less science to it than magic. For when Faith touches the skull she can see the departed and many other things.

Self-made entrepreneur Vince DeLucca has figured out Faith’s secret and forces her to help him find his dead fiancée so he can close the book on the worst nightmare of his life. Perhaps not the worst, for Vince is plagued by prescient dreams about things blowing up.

This unlikely duo, one who can look into the past, and one with horrific glimpses of the future, teams up to solve a murder and track a sociopath with the uncanny ability to set a multitude of death traps for them.
