"Fast Paced and Spine Chilling to the End!"
This is the 12th and last of the books in the Darren Shan
Series of Cirque Du Freak. The author is the main character
and this is his story... Vampires vs. Vampaneze. The Vampire Prince, Darren Shan
must face his archenemy, Steve Leopard. Along with this
fight there is a problem. If he wins, he will be damned and
if he loses well... he's dead. No matter what, one of them
will have to die and the one will rule. The winner will be
the Lord of the Shadows, a ruler that will destroy the
world. Darren has one chance to make this all right, but
that involves cheating destiny. Mr. Shan has written a tale for all ages. Like all the
other stories, Sons of Destiny is fast paced and
spine chilling to the end, but also with the important
aspects of friendship and moral standards to uphold. You
can read this story alone, but I would recommend reading
this series from the start to appreciate the full ongoing
story of Darren Shan. This is rated young adult. My kids and I read this series
when it first came out. We were so hooked that we ordered
the remaining four books of the series from the UK because
we couldn't wait for them to be released here in the US. Heads up: The first book is going to be a movie soon! We're
seeing a sneak peek this weekend. Stars: Ken Watanabe
(Batman Begins), John C. Reilly (Step Brothers), Salma
Hayek (Spy Kids 3), Josh Hutcherson (Journey to the Center
of the Earth, Bridge to Terabithia) Reviewed by: Karen
