"This showed alot of promise"
Sam Chase has always kept her psychic abilities to herself
and seeing something that is about to happen has saved her
life more than once. Now that the Agency has figured out
her secret she is recruited to help solve a strange case
that can't be explained. Joined by some other young women
who also have special abilities they have to join forces to
find out why bodies are going missing from Arlington
cemetery. The new sisterhood contains a voodoo priestess, a witch and
a girl who has been especially released from prison to join
the team. With the help of Bear, a forensic investigator
who doesn't believe in anything supernatural, the girls
have their work cut out. Sam and Bear get closer to finding
the answers they need to solve the case and also get closer
to each other. Will they manage to save their country from
the dark evil that is lurking in the shadows? Dark Nights, Dark Dreams is the first book in the
Sisterhood of the Sight series. My first impression is that
it was neither good or bad but was just a building block
for what is to come. This showed alot of promise but I
really want to see what happens next. Sure this is nothing
compared to the Darkwing Chronicles, also by this author.
However it was new, unique and interesting. So give this one a chance because it could just be the
start of something good. On the other hand it could be the
beginning of nothing ;) I have faith in Ms. Russe though
and can't wait to see what book two in this series brings.
