"Can evil deeds be turned to good?"
Santa Paws is a short story about JR Thornton, a
werewolf seeking redemption for his unwitting evil deeds
and Phaedra, a wood fairy that hates JR for what he did to
her and her family. To redeem himself JR dresses as Santa
and delivers gifts to an orphanage. Enter Phaedra who at
first would rather shoot him then talk to him. But can he
change her mind and show her he is really ready to turn the
other cheek. Phaedra has hated JR for a long time but seeing him in the
Santa suit may change her mind, or is it that love and hate
really are two sides of the same coin. JR says he has
changed but can Phaedra believe him? Does she dare give
into her desire to sit on Santa's lap and have her own evil
ways with him? Lena Austin brings to life these two characters in her
short story Santa Paws. Bringing Christmas to the
readers and showing them that just about every evil deed
can be turned to good, given the right incentive. Many
readers will enjoy this short story that shows just what
Christmas can be all about, at least to the magical
creatures of the world
