"An excellent though somewhat darker sequel to the Twilight's Possession series"
Raine Avery is unemployed and somewhat desperate to find
work when she applies to be Tryphon Zade's personal
assistant. When interviewed for the position, the chemistry
between them is immediately evident but Tryphon arrogantly
tells her she can't have the job because he's too attracted
to her. Disconsolate, Raine leaves but not before giving
Tryphon some advice...perhaps not her smartest move. After the interview, Tryphon convinces his lover, Bale that
Raine is ideal for their needs. With time rapidly running
out in which to complete the Blood Bond, they must now
convince her to stay with them for a week of unbridled,
erotic sex. There are some wee problems though..... Tryphon
is a handsome, insufferable and overbearing ass with
control issues; Bale is a gorgeous stud, both considerate
and attentive but this walking wet dream also stoops to
blackmail; and that little, inner voice of reason keeps
telling Raine she's getting in too deep.... but is she
running for her life or away from love? Everlasting Hunger is the third in the Twilight's
Possession series by Tawny Taylor. While holding to the
same premise in the previous two books this has a darker
undercurrent threading its way through with a hint of
abduction, a touch of BDSM and dash of voyeurism. Ms.
Taylor has also explored growth and stagnation within a
long term relationship and possible outcomes when partners
finally recognize the changing needs in each other. The
final outcome is ultimately dependent upon choices that
Raine, Tryphon and Bale must make but, what if someone
makes the wrong choice? Though Everlasting Hunger presents some of the
darker aspects of relationships, Tawny Taylor's deft and
sure style keeps the tone light; making for an easy,
enjoyable read. Anyone familiar with this series will be
very satisfied with this next chapter on the Sons of the
Twilight.
