"an awesome read"
Annwyl feared she was going mad. After all, the last thing
she remembered was getting ready to die and now she was
carrying on a conversation with a huge black dragon.
Fearghus the Destroyer, to be exact. A dragon who had
saved her when her blood had run out of her body, by taking
her to his home so that his sister could heal her. Sister
is also a dragon, of course. Annwyl has been leading a rebellion against her brutal
brother for control of their father's Kingdom. He has more
men, more strength and while she does have the backing of
many estates; she is afraid she is not strong enough to
kill him. Unless she gets help from her rescuer. Fearghus
sends a knight errant to teach her what she needs to know
to kill Lorcan, but things become a little more involved in
the process. She is quickly falling for the knight and vice
versa. While they battle each other she is learning new
tactics and strengths but - it is when they stop the
training that things become complicated. When the knight's
younger brother shows up looking for Fearghus, things come
to a head. Does Annwyl become the leader the land has hoped for? What
of the Dragons? Who is Rhiannon and why is she chained to
the wall? This fascinating novel explains all and more
along with mind-blowing sex and lots of bloody war-stuff
mixed in! A great book. Chains and Flames by G. A. Aiken A pleasant surprise at the end of Dragon Actually,
it's a short story as good as the main novel of how
Fearghus' parents came to love one another and raise lots
and lots of baby Dragons. Humorous and very sexy! I see there is a new book coming next month! I am waiting
with baited (fiery!!) breath!
