"readers will be drawn in to Kane and Toni's life and their fight against the Pure Vampires"
Stephani Hecht starts her Drone Vampire Chronicle series
with a bang. Introducing her readers to three very well
defined Vampire Brothers. Kane, Dante, and Rafe, otherwise
known in Vampire society as the Toren Brothers. Highly
trained and called upon for jobs no other Vampires would
take, until one night where they were framed and
imprisoned. Now years later they are out of prison and
trying to live again after being disowned by their family. Halloween night Kane finds himself and his brothers helping
out a band of Drone Vampires when a female drone, named
Toni, comes to his house and asks for his help against the
VRF. Toni has heard of Kane Toren, even met him years ago while
he was in prison but she didn't expect to feel the
attraction to him. She has a mission to complete and she
knows the Toren Brothers can help her. Question is, will
they? Stephani Hecht does well to draw her readers into this
story and makes them feel for Kane and his brothers as well
as Toni and her fellow Drone Vampires, not to mention the
rest of the paranormal society that comes to help in the
fight against the Pure Vampires.

|
Once top soldiers for the Vampire Regulation Force, Kane Toren and his two younger brothers were the ones to call for missions no one else could handle. They were feared by everyone and respected by all. That ended in one horrible night, when an entire human family was slaughtered and the brothers were falsely accused, imprisoned and disgraced. Ten years later, Kane is out of prison and struggling to support himself and his brothers by taking jobs no self-respecting vampire would accept. Then on Halloween Night a beautiful female Drone vampire, named Toni, shows up at his door seeking his help. There is no way Kane can turn her away, even though he knows she, too, is harboring demons from her own dark past. Despite all that, they find themselves drawn to each other. But, can they let go of the past long enough to embrace the future? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
