"I just love happy endings!!!"
The prologue reviews events which took place ten years prior
to explain what had happened. Although I would have rather
had that as part of the actual story, it read quite well.
Kit and Dane decided to hold a seance in a graveyard where a
family had been murdered by the father. Then Dane disappears. Ten years later, the story starts with Kit as Halloween is
approaching. She hates the holiday because of the what
happened to Dane. Soon, Dane's ghost is visiting her. She
realizes that she has to find out what happened to him.
After some research she finds out of some major twists to
his family history. Of course, at the end, he comes back and is freed from the
hell that he's been stuck in for the past ten years. Ms. Lee's story is fast paced, although you do kind of know
what is going to happen next - but the little twists that
she placed in the middle of the story, I never would have
guessed. I enjoyed it. The romance was perfect as were the
settings. I love happy endings! I'd love to see if she is
going to continue the story with these characters. The
ending was 'The End. Or is it?'
