"Intense and beautiful relationship drama"
Lieutenant Grace Yates is a combat fighter pilot
assigned to the USS George Washington, presently sailing in
the Mediterranean Sea. Since her boyfriend was killed two
years ago, Grace has closed herself off from a serious
relationship, not wanting to bear that pain again. She
does not realize that there is a man she is acquainted with
who intends to make her change her mind by slowly and
gently wooing her. Air Force Pararescuer, Major Bruce Stanton spent
almost his entire military career pulling downed pilots out
of enemy territory before they are captured. After he
almost loses his life in a top-secret mission, Bruce has an
epiphany and realizes what is really important in life. He
has deep feelings for Grace but he must go slowly if he is
to win her. He starts by writing her a letter, which she
responds to. Before long both are looking forward to each
other's correspondence. When they are stationed stateside,
they make time to explore their relationship and by the
time both are returned to combat zones, they know what they
feel for one another is deep, true and everlasting. Although TRUE VALOR is a very intense and beautiful
relationship drama, it is also an action-packed military
thriller with some stunning aerial scenes. Dee Henderson
has written a novel that will appeal to both genders
especially those readers who relish a cleverly interweaving
of action, adventure and romance. Harriet Klausner
