"A new world is born in this fantasy work of art"
In a world deep under the sea there is a kingdom that has
survived centuries and the modern world doesn't know it
exsists. The people who live there are the Seaborn and
their history is interesting, intriguing and special. Kassandra is the granddaughter of the King of the Seaborn
and has been banished to the surface. Not letting her
grandfather keep her in exile forever she is learning to
use her powers. Once strong enough she will face the King
and take the crown for herself. She is a power to be
reckoned with and it is nearly time for her to go against
the man who tried to hide that she is Seaborn. When Corina, a college student goes for her weekly dive she
is sure there is something in the water with her. Then her
mind and body is taken over and she can not control
anything the Seaborn sorcerer does with her. She has to
fight to keep Aleximor from taking revenge on the world
after being imprisoned for four hundred years. A new world is born in this fantasy work of art. The sea
has alot on offer in this fresh and unique debut book by
Chris Howard. With some darkness, alot of depth and some
fantastic characters this is a must read for any fantasy
fans who like the sea aspect or who just want to try
something a little different. Sometimes a little
complicated to follow, the author has weaved a tale that
needs to be taken in slowly to understand all the delights
it holds. Seaborn was interesting and has left me wanting
more. Hopefully there will be more on offer soon because
even though I don't like swimming in the sea I certainly
like reading about it and the treasures it holds.
