"you'll want to read it in one sitting!"
Sacred Sanctuary and Treasures was the brain child of
Angelica Kane and her friend Marisa. They were happy when
Annie brought her new business to the neighborhood. "New"
Antiques was a renovated Pennsylvania Farmhouse which had
been in Annie's family for years. She had it moved when
she decided to relocate and it made the perfect antique
store. Well, almost. "New" Antiques has an upstairs issue. It's cold. Very
cold. Shoppers can hear people talking. While upstairs
shopping by themselves! Obviously interesting but not too
good for business! Angelica is asked to see if she can
sense anything upstairs. Being a psychic and a Wiccan High
Priestess, she is capable of nearly anything. She finds 4
souls: a woman and her three children who are awaiting
their father. They are crossed over with Angelica's help.
More disturbing is the specter (nearly full) sitting in an
old chair who says he is going to be working with
Angelica. He feels familiar. Too familiar, it turns out. Cliff (aka Khaldun) is the
killer Angelica helped catch after he had put her and her
daughter's lives at risk. He wants to set his Karma back on
the right path and needs Angelica's help to do so. Team
that with a dead realtor, a cheating husband and a VERY hot
detective and you have a novel that just keeps you
reading. Best to start it on a Friday night, because
you'll want to read it in one sitting! This was a good read, a great story line. I loved the plot
and the characters each stood out on their own. Although,
I could not find that there was another novel prior to this
one and if there wasn't - there should be. I would love to
learn how Angelica's story really began.
