"Keeps the blood pumping from the beginning to the end!"
In this story we meet Zoe Bennette, who has only been a
wolf for two years. She is having a problem, she's single
and she's in heat. So looking for someone to mate with she
decides to step inside Last Call. This is a bar that serves
drinks to the paranormal species. With a pretty cool twist,
what you order tells the others what you need. Hence the name of the story, Zoe orders a Kamikaze, which
tells the other werewolves that this one is in heat and
looking for a temporary mate. Well, after drinking her Kamikaze the race is on. But the
winner happens to be Connor O'Malley, who is a security
specialist for the bar owner. He couldn't help himself,
seeing such an attractive and available woman in need. Zoe is desperately trying to calm the wolf inside and it
seems that Connor is just the man to do it. Moira Rogers' character, Zoe is in need from the very
beginning, but as we follow her, she is nervous too,
feeling all eyes on her. It actually made me ache for her
to get some type of release. The story flips back and forth
between Zoe and Connor's points of view. We see the
conflict within Connor as he attempts to stop himself from
going after Zoe, but the wolf inside wins. Moira Rogers has written a spectacular, sexy, fast-paced
story. Well written and it keeps the blood pumping from the
beginning to the end. I'll be looking for more books by Moira Rogers.
