"I have to say that Anna is the female vampire character I would most like to be."
Six months have passed since the night that Anna Strong was
attacked and turned into a vampire. Trying to keep her life
as normal as possible she still works as a bounty hunter and
spends time with her family. Keeping her new life a secret
isn't easy and neither has adapting to it. Anna needs and
wants to stay as human as possible but there are alot of
setbacks when you are a vampire. A while ago Anna had to kill her vampire lover Avery and
therefore inherited all of his belongings. When a werewolf
comes forward and claims to be Avery's widow, Anna is more
than happy for her to have everything. Things aren't that
simple though and Anna finds herself having to face an enemy
that she never thought she would see again. Meanwhile Anna is put in a difficult position and ends up
helping the ever so annoying Gloria. Also her family are
getting ready to celebrate Christmas with Anna when they get
some amazing news. Will Anna be forced to choose between the
life she has made for herself or her family? The aptly named Anna Strong returns again in Legacy the
fourth book in the series. These books just keep getting
better and better with more and more depth and structure.
Anna is an amazing character and her interaction with the
werewolves and Gloria made for great reading and how she
dealt with them made me proud of her. She is a fighter and
has amazing instincts which help her get from A to B with
only a few minor setbacks. I have to say that Anna is the
female vampire character I would most like to be. She is
hard but has flair. She is immortal but she still manages to
hold on to her humanity. This is a great series and if you haven't already tried this
one then what are you waiting for? go and get to know this
great leading lady. You won't regret it! I need more of Anna
and I can't wait for her next adventure.
