"With Nightwalker, Jocelynn Drake has broken the mold in more ways than one and I liked it"
Mira has been a Nightwalker for centuries and she has
traveled the world and is known to all of her kind as Fire
Starter. She has always been a target but she may have met
her match this time with vampire hunter Danaus. She knows
she will have to kill him and he knows he should kill her
but something more important comes up. They find themselves
working together to stop the ancient enemies that have made
their way back into this world. Things are looking deadly
and both Mira and Danaus start to wonder if they are the
hunters or the hunted. For a debut novel Nightwalker is just amazing. The
action starts on page one and then it is fast paced and
hard hitting reading right till the last page. Urban
Fantasy readers everywhere will love this first Dark Days
novel and it is imho the definite must read this year.
Follow Mira from America to Egypt then to London in this
dark, intense novel. The storyline is more than interesting
and the characters will rock you. Mira is a leading lady who knows what she wants and what
she needs to do to get it. Forget your heroines who are
weak and moan about shoes, boys and hair. Mira is hard, in
your face and kicks anything that gets too close. Oh and
for a change there is no hint of the normal romance between
the leading gal and leading guy, making this more than
unique but refreshing. With Nightwalker, Jocelynn Drake has broken the mold
in more ways than one and I liked it. Pick this up if you
crave something that hasn't been done and isn't
predictable. I am looking forward to seeing what the future
has in store for Mira. Nightwalker went straight onto the bestseller list
in the first week of release and any Kim Harrison, Lilith
Saintcrow or J.R Ward fans would be silly not to have this
at least on their wishlists.
