Lance is a wizard who works for a secret government organization. They destroy all that is magick and more. Ms. D'Amario's story will grab you from the beginning and won't let you go. I loved how Cassie was the aggressive shapeshifter, but by all means, Lance was no wimp. He was a True Mate for her in every respect. This tale has it all. There are secrets to solve, action packed suspense and a love story that will leave you panting for more.

Lance is a Wizard. He's not a great wizard, but he's all right. Descended from a long line of wizards, his brothers taunt him for being slow to learn. Raised by her father after her mother's death she's as well adjusted as any shifter can be, and still live in the human world, hiding who and what she is.
