"Powerful paranormal romance"
For just under a century, Alex has worked as an incubus
for the Evil One. His job is to seduce humans so that the
victim obtains their vain wish, but at an exorbitant price
of becoming one of hell's minions. The Prince of Darkness offers Alex a gift, vengeance on
the sorceress Catherine by seducing her and turning her
over to the Evil One. Catherine's spirit possesses the
body of a descendant Callie Wisdom, who risks her soul to
find the cure to the family curse that leaves her father
blind. When seven days pass, Catherine will own the body.
Alex travels to New Orleans where he meets Callie in her
family antique shop where her goodness surprises Alex.
Callie and Alex begin to fall in love, leaving him wonder
if her pure soul will free him from the control of the
Prince of Darkness or will his dark soul make her the
latest resident of hell. A STRANGER'S KISS is a strong paranormal romance
centering on the complexities of love as a more powerful
tool than that of anything malevolent. The story line is
fast-paced and vividly described so that the audience can
taste brimstone when Alex visits his boss. Callie is a
wonderful lead protagonist though her purity at 200 proof
seems superior to Mother Teresa levels. Still readers will
want Callie to save Alex from eternal damnation while also
ending the family curse at the cost of a sequel or two.
Kimberly Raye must write for the Prince because she seduces
her readers with a powerful paranormal tale that will leave
her fans satiated and yet craving more. Harriet Klausner
