Returning home to Devon Falls after disappearing to Europe
for a few years, Damien has mixed feelings about coming
back into the family fold, and their secrets held at the
Dragon Inn. His decision to allow his Grandfather, the
family patriarch, to take the one thing in his life that
mattered from him, Alicia, still haunts him. Is there even
a chance for him to rekindle the love that they once shared
after the cruel way he vanished from her life? And when
she learns the truth, can she accept all of him? Alicia has worked very hard at building the walls around
her heart that would protect her from ever being hurt that
badly again. It has been several years since Damien left
her alone and hurting and when she's least prepared those
memories can come flooding back. But in spite of how it
ended between them her heart can't let her forget him and
move on. When Damien comes back begging her forgiveness
will their secrets bring them together or tear them apart? A heat wave has hit Devon Falls and it isn't all about the
weather, Damien and Alicia are one hot couple. This is a
story that is very much about taking responsibility for our
lives, and the power of forgiveness. The characters have
both suffered for things that were and were not within
their control and the emotions the author wrings from her
characters make this story very poignant. Raine Delight's
Devon Falls is a magical place I look forward to visiting
again soon.
