"a wonderful addition to the Dalakis Passion Series"
Stefan Dalakis has almost given up ever finding his one
true love. His brothers are so happy with their new
brides, he couldn't be around them. So he hits the road
and ends up in the small town of Salvation in Transylvania
County, North Carolina. There he meets her. Laurell Rose McCaffey is a small town girl with a few
unusual talents. But those talents make sure the townsfolk
fear her and shun her. When mysterious things start
happening on her mountain, and folks start threatening her
to get her to leave her land, she has nowhere to turn. Can
the gorgeous Stefan help her and love her, or will he be
her downfall? This book was a wonderful addition to the Dalakis Passion
Series. I think I enjoyed this particular piece the most
so far. The hero in this story is so on edge, you can feel
his tension. The heroine is stoic and practical, but when
she lets herself feel, she is like a whirling dervish. The
attraction they have for each other leaps off of the pages
and slaps at you. Both of the characters are willful and
head strong. I can hardly wait to see what comes next in
the series and from this author.
