Ellen is a haunted woman. Her abusive marriage ended over a year ago but her abusive ex husband is still tormenting her. When she almost passes out in her boss's arms, he gets his feel. He sends her to his cabin on a mountain to rest and relax. Little does Ellen know that his actions will change her life forever.

Matt and his three brothers are cursed men; cursed by the shamans of their tribe for avoiding their responsibilities, to their tribe. They must live for eternity protecting and living up to their responsibilities with the help of being able to take on an animal form. When Matt's youngest brother contacts him to watch out for one of his employees it doesn't make him the happiest.

This story is absolutely captivating. The characters are completely endearing and lovable. They are so real that it will feel like you are watching the scene with your own eyes. The plot flows perfectly with no down times. The characters are believable and easy to identify with. The sexual content flows from steamy to sweet. Some of the scenes will have you almost in tears while others will make you laugh out loud. A very well written piece. This is the first book in a series, and I cannot wait to read the rest.

What's a woman to do if she's lost in a blizzard on an isolated mountain, faints when she thinks she sees a bear, and then wakes up in the arms of a tall, dark, mysterious stranger? Give in to temptation and seduce him, of course.

Mathias Tassel is everything Ellen Mallory ever dreamed of in a man; thoughtful, caring, gentle, and he has a great sense of humor. Added to that, he's gorgeous.

What woman wouldn't be tempted?

There's just this one tiny little thing. At the height of passion Ellen keeps imagining Matt is turning into a bear. She can live with that. After all, she's been questioning her own sanity for a while now and sex with Matt is mind-blowing enough to tip her over the edge.

Their snowbound tryst comes to an end when Matt tries to explain who and what he is, an immortal shape-shifter who also has psychic powers. Ellen may be crazy, but she's not falling for that and sends him on his way.

But that isn't the only thing standing between Ellen and Matt. There are other forces at work on Eternity Mountain, unknown factors which will reunite them, only to tear them apart again.

Can they survive the powers working against them and overcome an ancient Cherokee curse to find their destiny?
