"puts a whole new meaning to the saying 'things that go bump in the night'."
McKenna Murphy owns the local bookstore but does some
paranormal investigations in her spare time. Her team has
been called to Murphy's corner Inn and Tavern to
investigate the strange goings on that are scaring the
guests away. The inn is run by Aiden and Perry and while
both know Mckenna it is Perry who wants her help while
Aiden is skeptical about the whole thing. McKenna and Aiden went to school together and are distantly
related. However they have grown up in very different
worlds. She was the class freak whose family openly
admitted to having certain 'gifts' while he was homecoming
king and captain of the football team from the normal side
of the family. The inn has always had stories surrounding it and it was
always the place kids went to hang out on Halloween.
Stories of ghosts and other unexplained things like
flickering lights have always been told but now guests have
been pushed around and have the bruises to prove it.
Mckenna has always felt evil around the place and it
doesn't take long for her and her team to find something.
With the help of her team of friends she hopes she will
find the reason behind the strange events. What she
doesn't expect is that her and Aiden's feelings for each
other will have an effect on the outcome. This was a short but intense story that will appeal to any
paranoramal investigation lovers. Demon Inn reads
like an episode of Supernatural with the crew of Most
Haunted along for the ride. Spooky and sexy, the story
grabs the reader early on and doesn't let go until the
end. With both hot scenes and colder creepier scenes
causing goosebumps this is a paranormal romance that puts a
whole new meaning to the saying 'things that go bump in the
night'. Great characters, storyline and nicely written this author
has great talent and hopefully there will be more to come.
Worth checking out but don't read this one while staying in
a hotel of any kind!
