REVIEW

"one of the funniest things I have ever read"

Cassia "Cass" Kinsley lived for the moment she could get online and talk to her best friend in the world of chat. She knew everything about him, except what he looked like. But that was fine with her; it was a great relationship, even if he thought her name was Rikki Tikki Tavi.

Dar met Cass in real life without even knowing it at first. And she only knew him as Grimalkin. Noticing how shy Cass is, Dar sets out on a path to make her his own. But they both have secrets that could destroy any relationship before it starts. Will they overcome their pasts and make a future together?

This book was one of the funniest things I have ever read. Theolyn Boese has an irreverent wit and off the wall sense of humor. I can't wait to see more from her. I laughed so hard I thought I would collapse from lack of oxygen. The characters are described well and their monikers will make you scream. I'm sure you will recognize a few of the people in her book, as they appear everywhere. I love this book, and the characters surprised me, but I fell in love with them too.

SUMMARY

Cass has a rather interesting family. They are shapeshifters, but not like the ones of legend. Naw, they got the short end of the shifter stick. Cass is a mongoose, her grandfather was a horny old goat and her cousins range from a sexy fox to a skunk with halitosis.

So, she likes to have a normal work life, but did she ever pick the wrong place. Her trainer is crazy, but doesn't think she needs her medication and another co-worker shaves her eyebrows in the restroom every morning. And then there's Dar. He's hot, classy, and drives the women crazy. He's also interested in her and has no clue why she scurries off every time he talks to her.

When he finds out that Cass is his friend from the chat room he hangs out in he is even more interested in getting to know her, but he doesn't expect the sparks that fly when he touches her.

Fate, however, seems to be conspiring against them as someone tries to break into Cass's house and her friends and family seem intent on scaring Dar off. And, all the while her hamsters are plotting to kill herů
