Khira needed, was hungry, but when she feeds others die. Khira had been infected and now lived off of others. The man who was responsible for her being what she is was looking for her; he needs her, without her he is lonely. So he must get to her before others die, before he is left without her again in his life. Will he find her in time? Will they be able to get to each other and stop the pain, stop their bodies from seeking the other and not finding?

I have read Sherri L. King since her first book came out, and she just gets better and better. This story I loved because it was so different from what I have read from her. You have two souls that must find each other, the maker and the one he born. He must be with her because without her he isn't whole; he is half of what he could be. A great read.
