"With Every Breath is a gallant romance"
Sunshine Phillips loves living in Scotland. She moved there
when her sister married a Highlander and moved to Scotland.
Sunshine gladly agreed to move in to the little hut and
become the MacLeod Witch. Expecting her brother-in-law to
fetch her she thought nothing of opening the door when
there was a knock, what she didn't expect was a medieval
highlander pulling her across her own threshold into 1375
Scotland. Robert Francis Cameron mac Cameron rode two hours to fetch
the MacLeod witch in hopes that she might be able to help
his brother. When he arrived at her hut he expected an old
hag not a beautiful young women. Knowing his time was
limited he thought nothing of the clothes she wore that
were so different or the fact that she turned every light
in the hut off with a single flick of her wrist. A spirited
witch, she almost gave him the slip a few times but he was
determined. With Every Breath is a gallant, romantic tale filled
with lairds and ladies of past and present. Cameron is
tall, good looking, and laird of Cameron Hall. Betrayals
from all sides drive him to find refuge in the witch he
sought out and now must protect, and to his dismay falls in
love with. Sunshine, upon finding herself in another time
in a place she has no where to go, has no choice but to
trust laird Cameron. When his clan turns on her and accuse
her of being a real witch he rescues her just in time and
from then on he guards her door. Could falling in love with
him be enough of a reason to stay in the past despite his
fast crumbling hold on his own clan? The characters in this story are heartwarming and wit
filled. Their ability to come to life is amazing. You will
want to go to the Highlands and find your own medieval
laird. Despite everything falling down around them they
clutch to each other and hold fast. Those still looking for
their knights in shining armor will delight in this book.
