"an erotically charged "out of this world" story"
In this third installment in the Made for Two series we are
introduced to Lieutenant Lacey Meadows, who is also an
Adept like her sister Velvet (Made for Two Rivals). Having
survived an enemy attack that left many dead, including her
lover, Lacey decides that she wants two lovers, in case
another one dies. The problem is Lacey has set her sights
on Lieutenant Jason Orlov as her first lover. Due to Jason's past, he can barely stand the touch of
another man, even in a casual friendly way. Even though he
has been in love with Lacey since he saw a drawing of her,
he does not think he could share her with another man and
he knows that is what she wants. Lacey is special and due to her heightened adept abilities,
the Spaceforce command wants her every need taken care of.
Enter Junkie, the newly promoted eYonan wing commander who
has been given the mission to get Jason and Lacey together
(and if he gets to have Lacey in the process all the
better). What Junkie didn't count on was his heart getting
involved. Madison Hayes has what it takes to make this story work;
the characters are more than one-sided, they each have
their own emotional baggage and are able work through it
together. I liked that we got to see old characters from
her other Made for Two books. The sex scenes are Hot and
the M/F/M ménage is done in a means that is in no way
homoerotic. I have to admit to liking Junkie the most, his
thought process and hidden levels that he worked hard to
keep were just very appealing to me. Overall, this book is
an erotically charged "out of this world" story with
likable characters and a great plot. This story can be
read as a stand alone, but I recommend reading the entire
series for your enjoyment. 1. Made for Two Men
2. Made for Two Rivals
3. Made for Two Heroes
