"Shadows of Evil is a bewitching book"

Kia Wolfe is an artist who wants nothing more than her independence. She is sick and tired of people dictating her life for her. She moves away from her family and pushy ex boyfriend in Savannah to a mountain in Tennessee. She finds a house on the Internet that she falls in love with as soon as she sees it. She moves in only to find that there may be more to the house than she bargained for.

Garrett McKnight is a man of many secrets. He's sworn off women since his selfish wife walked out and took his heart with her. Women will do anything to get what they want. Relationships are the last thing he wants. Then Kia moves into the old Strode house, an evil place rumored to be cursed for longer than anyone in town remembers. Can he save her and his own heart before it's too late? Either way he can't let her get hurt.

Shadows of Evil is a bewitching book. It's an interesting combination of witchcraft and ghost story with a werewolf thrown in for good measure. The characters battle their own need with fear of losing themselves to find peace and happiness, while fighting to keep their sanity against an evil presence bent on destroying everything. The conversations are witty and the characters loveable. The sex scenes are gentle and passionate. The book is full of action and it's easy to identify with the characters' battle within.

Kia must learn to trust—before the evil in her house destroys them all.

For Kia Wolfe, moving to an isolated mountaintop is an act of independence from her demanding family and ex-fiancé. She’s literally dreamed about the regal old house for years, and for the first time in her life she feels at home. She’s here to stay, even though the house’s history of violent deaths is enough to scare off most people.

Garrett McKnight, owner of the contracting firm Kia has hired to renovate her house, is wary of the new resident. Emotionally bruised and battered by a self-centered ex-wife, he can’t get around the fact that there’s something about Kia that both attracts him and sets him on edge. And when Kia dabbles in a bit of Wicca, accidentally unleashing a hidden evil, it’s tempting to walk away and leave her to her to her fate.

But he can’t. Not when four people have died in that house.
