"a deeply moving, emotional read"
Jasmine has worked hard to try and overcome her past, a
past put behind her with the help and love of the two men
who rescued her from a life on the streets. After a year in
Paris , Jasmine knows exactly what she wants when she
returns home to the two brothers. She wanted them, but
could she make these incredibly handsome, strong men hers
forever? She plans to return to them and do just that, but
Jaz will need to prove to them that she is no longer a
child, but a woman with needs who knows what she wants,
them. However, the question is, will they accept a life
with her and love her the way she needs to be loved?
Because it's both men she needs. She wants to move on and
forget the past, but will that horrid past forget them and
allow them the future she wants? Can love allow her that
future? Zane and Seth are strong, capable men. When Jasmine came
into their lives they vowed to look after her and appointed
themselves her official guardians and protectors. Some
things are hard to protect someone from though. They know
how traumatized poor Jaz was when she came to them, so they
vow they will never hurt her, and they will do, whatever
they must do to make her safe, and give her a home. When
Jaz returns home from Paris though, it becomes painfully
obvious the brothers can no longer battle the strong
desires that they have felt growing over the years. Jasmine
it appears seems bent on changing their view of her
forever, no longer the child, the woman makes herself known
in ways they've only dreamt of. The brothers not only want
the beauty for themselves, they want her happy, but can
they truly share her love? That's easier said than done,
and happiness seems to be a difficult thing to guarantee
with a past that terrifies their gorgeous little Jaz and a
future that terrifies them, a future they may not be able
to handle. What would you do for love, how far are you
willing to go to see someone you love truly happy? It's no secret Maya Banks is one of my favorite authors,
this book just proves why. If you are not afraid of a
deeply moving, emotional read that will draw you into a
strong connection with her characters, then read this,
because you will love it! Ms. Banks has a way of wrapping
her characters around your heart, you will laugh, you will
cry, you will clench the edge of your seat. You will also
be left completely breathless by her incredible men and
this book is no exception, it's the rule. Brazen is a deep,
emotional and sexy thrill ride, I recommend highly.
