"All Through the Night is NOT just a Christmas Song"
Sophie is back in the best of the Sophie Green Mysteries
yet! Sophie Green. Ah, Sophie Green. Sophie is in a heap
of trouble now. It's Christmas. She's out of work, soon
to be homeless, still hopelessly in love with her ex
partner. She can't get over Luke so what does she do...she
goes on Christmas holiday with him. With Luke. Not being
able to sleep with him so close and not in her bed, she
overhears an argument and soon finds herself in the middle
of a murder. But will this murder end up being hers? Luke has not given up on Sophie either. His last venture
into the single dating scene ended up being a nightmare
with many reruns. He's ready for the steady life of chaos
that he had with Sophie. And the hot sex would be a
welcome return too. But will a new job put an end to his
winning Sophie back? Angel and Harvey were hearing wedding bells until Angel
finds out about a little secret he has been hiding away...and
just as the wedding is about to go, she calls it all off. Now match maker Sophie jumps in with a little issue to
bring the two back together again, all the while solving a
murder and avoiding being murdered herself. I loved the new characters introduced -- Rachel is a hoot
and one I hope keeps making appearances. Maria is a great
friend and will always be there for Sophie. And who could
forget her parents. They have to be the greatest parents
alive. Ms. Johnson has outdone herself with this one. She's even
woven in the back story so that you don't feel lost by
picking up the series in the middle. I can't wait to read
the next story. Please, Ms. Johnson, hurry, hurry, hurry.
