"a fun and edgy read"
Jasmine "Jazz" Boudreaux is a bounty hunter and sometime
bodyguard. She doesn't get entangled with her clients, she
just guards their bodies. When she is pulled through time
and space to meet the goddess Danu, she doesn't know what
to think. When Danu tells Jazz that she is a female
warrior, from the Order of Hussies, she laughs, thinking
she is cracking up. Then Jazz meets Dr. Rock Burns and
discovered the brain trust was not what she expected.
Their attraction for each other was burning out of control,
and Jazz wanted more. Can Jazz keep Rock alive long enough
to fulfill the promise in his eyes? This story was a fun and edgy read. I have long admired
Ms. Stone's work and love reading her novels. I think I
see parts of the author's personality in her heroine. Her
warmth and wit, and her sense of fun come across on every
page. I really enjoyed this story and it was fun to watch
the main characters battle it out. I hope I can read
everything this author has put out. And I would love an
expanded view of this story, so if she re-writes it, I want
to be first in line to get it!

A Multi-Author Series
A book in The Hussies series. Bounty hunter Jazz Boudreaux wouldn't believe it if she hadn't seen it with her own eyes. One minute she's scuffling with a "collar" in California. The next she's in a Scottish castle, being recruited by an ancient order of Hussy Warriors sworn to use their special powers to rescue the world in times of danger. Her mission: Keep some geek scientist alive long enough to develop a technology that will save the planet. Jazz soon discovers Dr. Rockwell Burns is anything but geeky. Delicious, maybe. Dangerous, definitely. Hard and a powerful, like his name. Suddenly, it's more personal than saving the world. It's about saving the man she loves. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
