"a nice delicious vampire novel"

Sylvie Durand owns 'Carpe Nocurne', a bar where a brutal murder takes place. A bar that unknown to Sylvie is a hotspot for vampires and other creatures. Trying to keep the bar out of the red hasn't been easy but Sylvie hasn't any choice but to close when her office becomes a crime scene.

Burke Langton is on the run after being wrongly accused of murder. He is trying to keep one step ahead of the law enforcement for the United Magical Nations called the Excoluni. He is trying to find the real killer so he will be cleared. When the murderer kills again he ends up at Carpe Nocturne and he meets Sylvie. Burke soon realises that Sylvie is not only a possible target for the killer but that she is also his mate. His Origo.

Sylvie has a shocking introduction to the vampire world and finds out that she is Burke's Origo and that she also has a second Origo. Milo Dvorak is that second Origo but he is also a high ranking officer of the Exoluni assigned to bring in Burke. This won't be easy with them both sharing an Origo and if Miko is caught protecting Burke his career will most certainly be over. So Sylvie starts to convince Milo to take the chance.

The three become a team and it is all action when they start looking for the killer so Burke's name will be cleared. They will all have to make decisions and do things they never thought they would to finish the blood bond they have to share to survive. Will they manage to beat the clock?

This was a great murder mystery but an even better erotic paranormal. With two sexy vampires and a lovely female this will have readers feeling burnt from all the hotness that this novel emits. With the murder story being a nice background to get the characters together it is the blood bond and threesome adventures that make this story.

All the main characters are likable and you get drawn into this story from the very first chapter. Split into 3 parts this book can be read like three short stories giving the reader a chance to take a break to get their breath back. Not far fetched this is an enjoyable read that will interest all kinds of paranormal romance readers. With love, sex and some more playful pursuits this is not too explicit and shouldn't put off people who like a more soft erotic read.

This author has written a nice, delicious vampire novel which will please a lot of appetites and it will leave you hungry enough to want seconds.
