"Claire Thompson out did herself this time"
Dylan Reese had been missing something in his life, so when
a friend from the past re-enters his life and has a free
admittance into a club that no one can get into, Dylan
jumps at it. He has been out of the BDSM scene for a while
now but he needed it, but needed to find someone that drew
him, that felt the same as him. He wanted a relationship,
not just to play act it, to live it; so far Dylan hadn't
found anyone like that. But when he sees Tomas, the Masked
Dom at the Club Chained, he knows he needs this man. He
makes him feel alive, feel like he can let go but only to
him. There is a connection between them that blows them
both away. Dylan falls under Tomas' spell from the first
night, even though Tomas wasn't even touching him, he was
just watching the magic that Tomas welled from his hands,
oh the magic this man shows. Dylan gets so into it, he
wants to be who Tomas is playing with, not just watching.
He is so shocked by his thoughts, he runs away. He must go
back, he just has to. But life goes on and on Monday Dylan
goes to meet the Professor of Medieval History that is to
be his mentor. When he first meets Jack, he feels like he
has known him for years. He can talk to him, he even shares
the feelings he has for the mystery man, Tomas. Shocked
that he would even talk to this man he just met and open up
about his orientation towards BDSM, things heat up between
Jack and Dylan. But Dylan can't stop thinking of Tomas, he
has to see him again, he can't get on with his life or see
if there is a chance for him and Jack until he figures out
what this hold is that Tomas has on him. But when Dylan
finds out who the man behind the mask is, will he feel hurt
or will he let his Master lead him in to ecstasy by the
only man that can show him the stars? Well, Claire Thompson knows how much I love her books and
her writing style, but she out did herself this time. All I
can say is, this story was "Damn Hot', but boy did it have
one of the best story lines I have read in a long time. The
way she wrote the first meeting of Dylan and Tomas just
heated the pages up to where they almost caught on fire. I
loved the way that Dylan and Jack's love just lifted off of
the pages with its passion. The way that they were each
other's other half, the other part of their souls, just
made me want to say "go and get him, he is yours." I cannot
recommend this story enough.

When Dylan Reese first sees Tomas, the sensual masked Dom at Club Chained, he instantly feels the connection between them. Falling under his dark spell, Dylan is unable to resist his commands, baring his body and his soul for his masked lover. In an intense exchange of sensual power, Dylan submits with an honesty and a passion he's never known. He finds himself falling hopelessly in love with a stranger who can't or won't reveal himself. Dr. Jack Marchand, a professor of medieval history, is smitten the moment he lays eyes on Dylan, the green-eyed PhD candidate he is mentoring. As their friendship blossoms, so does their trust — freeing Dylan to confess his submissive orientation while Jack admits his naturally dominant impulses. A tumble into bed after too much to drink convinces Jack he must possess Dylan on every level. But just as Dylan is captured by a fantasy, Jack is held prisoner by a secret of his own creation. Jack finally realizes the only way to liberate Dylan's heart is to confess what he has kept hidden from the world.
