"Unholy Night is phenomenal!"

Marissa Van Dyke no longer celebrates Halloween nor does she even participate in anything involved with it. But thanks to her friends she is guilted into going to a party on Halloween. When Marissa enters, a woman dressed as a gypsy comes up to her and claims she will be saved three times before she is finally free.

Marissa laughs it off as party foolishness and does not believe she is worth saving. Having made her appearance Marissa is trying to figure out how much longer she has to be there before she can sneak out. That is until she meets Neil Drigan. His eyes remind her of an unusual dream she had. There is something about him that draws her and that conflicts with her normal reserve, especially on this night of mourning.

Will the heat between Neil and Marissa be enough for her to overcome her own personal demons? Does the gypsy's claim hold true and will Marissa be set free?

Candice Glimer's world and character building in Unholy Night is phenomenal! I was drawn into the story from the very beginning; the chemistry between Neil and Marissa felt very genuine to me. I hope to see future stories set in this world, especially featuring the Knights of the Templar. I was intrigued by those characters and their impact in Unholy Night. If this story is an example of what we are to expect from new publisher Lyrical Press, I for one will be keeping an eye on them.

Can love be found on the unholiest night of the year?

There are some things Marissa Van Dyke won't do -- celebrate Halloween is one of them. When she's guilted into attending a Halloween party, a flamboyant woman dressed as a gypsy claims Marissa will be saved three times before she's finally free.

Foolish Halloween games, according to Marissa. Her life is fine; not perfect, but good enough, and nothing could save her anyway.

All she wants is to leave the party until a man named Neil Drigan materializes at her side, making her forget everything but his hauntingly familiar green eyes. His animal magnetism is a dangerous temptation on a night she's always reserved for mourning.

Can there be salvation under his powerful presence -- even on such an unholy night?

Warning: Some explicit sex, shapeshifting characters, and a tiny bit of psychic abilities.

Genre: Romance/Shifter
