"wonderful futuristic romance"
Set in the future, FIRST AND LAST tells how people have
settled on the moon and the lives they live there in their
own communities, as well as some of the rules they live by;
such as having to be married by the age of 25 or you are
sent back to Earth. Shayna is close to that age requirement
and has no prospects for a future husband in sight. At
least not one she wants. So she is off to the matchmaker to
find a husband, and is sent away from her life and "safe"
zone. Gideon is commander of a newer Luna community called
Farside and when he finds out just who his wife is to be he
can't wait. It's a dream come true for him, now to persuade
the woman. Suz DeMello does a wonderful job of telling the story of
Shayna and Gideon, and bringing the reader into the
futuristic culture of Luna. Showing you that not everything
is how one may think it is. I would suggest this book to
anyone that likes futuristic romance as well as culture
reading.
